The Washington Wine Commission seeks to recognize restaurants that exhibit strong support of Washington wines and high professional standards in wine service. The Wine Commission has enlisted the talent of noted glass artist Boyd Sugiki to design a unique glass sculpture for presentation at the awards event on April 4, 2008.
Awards Publicity
Winner of the 2008 Washington Wine Restaurant Awards will be recognized in a series of ads published in Seattle and Seattle Business Monthly magazines following the April 4 awards ceremony. These May ads include:
- A double page spread advertisement will run in the May 2008 issue of Seattle Business Monthly and will recognize the top award winners for the year, as well as refer readers to the complete listing of winners.
- A full-page ad will run in the May 2008 issue of Seattle magazine as well as an email blast to the magazine's email subscribers announcing the top award winner for the year, as well as referring readers to the complete listing of winners.
- A rotating web banner will appear on both seattlemag.com and seattlebusinessmonthly.com for the span of one year and click-through to a dedicated landing page listing all winners of this year's awards.
Submissions and Nominations
In order to be considered, all required documentation to justify the award must be submitted with the completed form and $50 entry fee. Please contact mdow@washingtonwine.org to nominate a restaurant.
