EVERY SATURDAY @ 1pm, join the Cru @ Forgeron Cellars Downtown Walla Walla Winery & Tasting Room for a Winery Tour & Tasting beginning this Saturday, February 1st! Forgeron Cellars provides wine enthusiasts who are looking for more than just a “Tasting Room” experience, an opportunity to sample some of Washington’s most elegant wines. Located in an old blacksmith shop at 3rd & Birch, Forgeron Cellars is within easy walking distance from Walla Walla’s major hotels and restaurants. As guests tour through the tank and barrel rooms, they are given an intimate look into the mechanics of winemaking while being treated to award-winning red and white wines. Every tour includes insight into Marie-Eve’s winemaking philosophy and how it affects each individual wine’s character and makeup.

5th Annual Tree Top Skewered Apple BBQ Championship

National competitors take on local barbeque masters for a $10,000 grand prize—the largest purse in the Northwest—at the 5th Annual Tree Top Skewered Apple Barbeque Championship. Saturday, September 6th, 4 pm to 11 pm Sunday, September 7th, 11 am to 6 pm Enjoy the competitive environment of a national BBQ championship, with food demos, activities, live entertainment, food vendors, beer and wine. Kick-off events begin Saturday night with a barbeque exhibition round and music by Navid Eliot, Shoot Jake, and headliner, Whiskey Syndicate. The championship heats up on Sunday with teams preparing pork butt, brisket, chicken and ribs. Musical talent continues throughout the day with The Common Deer, Village and Short Bus Bobby. The event wraps up with the final award ceremony at 5 p.m. and prizes totaling over $25,000! Ticket Prices: One Day- $10 Weekend pass- $15 Children- $5/day Children under 5 free Proceeds benefit the Children’s Under Ground at Yakima Valley Museum

Adopt - A - Vine
