Date:
January 31, 2014
Location:
Compass Wines- 1405 Commercial Ave, Anacortes, WA 98221
Description:
We promised the biggest of the big hitters from Washington State at our annual Fine Wine and Junk Food love fest on the Friday before the ‘game that shall not be named for fear of lawsuit’, if the Seahawks were playing on February 2nd, so the throw down is on. For $20, the first 50 people who sign up will get to taste Leonetti, Quilceda Creek, Cayuse and Woodward Canyon, plus 4 more fantastic ‘mystery’ wines against the fabulous junk food that we all enjoy while watching a ball game. This year, the food focus will be on the Pacific Northwest as well, so expect such treats as Tim’s Chips, Brown and Haley, Aplets and Cotlets plus some other tasty treats. Reservations required @360-293-6500 or doug@compasswines.com. Any former (or present) Seahawks that want to join in on the fun will get a free pass, but they do need to make a reservation as well!
