March 11, 2012

In addition to his winemaking education in Australia and in the Willamette Valley, he holds a degree in Marine Biology, which we find fitting -given the predominant cuisine for which the Flying Fish is known. Go ahead, ask him his favorite seafood pairings! We'll be learning about the Chateau's Austral red blend -a southern Rhone styled blend and for to the component tasting -sampling Syrah, Cinsault, Mourvedere and Granache varietals.
Test your knowledge -- We'll break into small groups for a hands on blending session -we encourage groups to share observations and launch into discussions to further your understanding.
Bring it full circle -- Our program will close with a tasting of the 2007 Austral blend provided by the Flying Fish. Feel free to stay for dinner!
