About Eaton Hill Winery
Ed and JoAnn Stear are the owners of this historic Yakima Valley property, formerly the fruit and vegetable cannery operated by the Floyd Rinehold family. The building, and the adjoining farmhouse built by Mr. Rinehold for his bride Emma Eaton, are examples of his work as a master builder in the lower Yakima Valley in the early 1900's. Production began in 1988 with Gary Rogers as resident winemaker, producing award winning wines until 2003. The Stears continue to produce wines, receiving awards from local, national, and international competitions. The tasting room hours are Feb-Nov daily 10-5; Dec-Jan daily 12-4.
