Westport Winery is the first commercial winery and vineyard in Grays Harbor county. Westport's focus is on creating wines that compliment beach foods and lifestyle.
About Westport Winery
Westport Winery is located halfway between Westport and Aberdeen on the corner of Highway 105 and South Arbor Road. There is plenty of parking and easy RV access. The tasting room and event center features a 40-foot lighthouse as part of its structure which is designed to look like a Coast Guard Station. There is indoor event seating for 90 guests and outdoor, summer facilities to accommodate parties of 250 in our display garden. At its opening in March of 2008, Westport released thirteen exciting varietals as follows: Charterboat Chick's Cabernet Sauvignon, Mermaid's Merlot, Surfer's Last Syrah, Jetty Cat Red, Shorebird Chardonnay, Grays Harbor Gewurztraminer, Elk River Riesling, Lighthouse White, Little Wild Blackberry Riesling, Compass Rose - a White Merlot, Ancient Mariner's Asian Pear, Shiver Me Timbers Ice Wine, and Red Sky at Night - A Raspberry Wine with natural Chocolate Flavor. Wine club members will be the first to enjoy Message In A Bottle at wine club pick up on Saturday, May 3, along with live music and fabulous food. In June, Westport will release Rapture of the Deep, their sparkling cranberry wine. A portion of the proceeds from the sale of each wine benefits a Grays Harbor charity. Planting of the new vineyards begins in June with custom-grafted grapes including Siegerrebe, Madeleine Angevine, Muscat of Norway, and Pinot Precoce. The Roberts's family welcomes you to our farm, Vineyards By-the-Sea, and our beautiful facility, Westport Winery. The tasting room is open daily from 11am to 6pm.
