The Washington State Wine Commission seeks to recognize restaurants that exhibit strong support of Washington wines and high professional standards in wine service.

The Washington State Wine Commission has enlisted the talent of noted glass artist Granite Calimpong to design a unique glass sculpture for presentation at the awards event.

2012 Restaurant Awards Entry Information

ELIGIBILITY

All restaurants, bars/wine bars and private clubs serving Washington wines by the bottle or glass may self-submit an entry application.

SUBMISSIONS

In order to be considered, all required documentation to justify the award must be submitted with the completed form and $50 entry fee.

DEADLINE

The deadline to apply online and submit your wine list to the Washington State Wine Commission is Wednesday, February 29, 2012.

JUDGING

The judging panel includes members from:

  • Washington State Wine Commission
  • Restaurant Industry
  • Washington Wine Producers
  • Washington State Restaurant Association
  • Wine Marketing Professionals
  • Wine and Restaurant Media

AWARDS CEREMONY

Restaurant winners will be announced at the awards ceremony on Monday, March 26th at the Washington Athletic Club. Invitations will be mailed to all applicants.

Winners of the 2012 Washington Wine Restaurant Awards will be recognized in a series of ads published in Seattle magazine and Sunset magazine following the March 26th awards ceremony.
