Our Story

We knew at first sight that this was the property for us. Sloped from top to bottom, there are no flat areas where cold air can stagnate and kill vines during cold winters. The lower elevation of 1200 feet and south/west facing slope ensures some of the warmest temperatures in the Lake Chelan area for excellent grape ripening.
The first vines were planted here in 2001 by our own dirty little hands. Determined to do this ourselves it took us three summers to finish planting the 8 acres. The end result is that we feel like we know every single vine we grow.
