The winery is located in the Alder Ridge Vineyard along the Columbia River in the town called Alderdale. Alder Ridge focuses on bourdeaux varities and its primary focus is producing the Cabernet Sauvignon in the state. The vineyard was planted in 1996 and the first wine produced was in 2001.
