Bridgman Cellars

William B. Bridgman was one of the first to plant wine grapes in the Yakima Valley. Bridgman produced dry dinner wines at a time when sweet dessert wines were in vogue. To honor his daring spirit, Bridgman Cellars was introduced in 1993.

Our Story

Founded in 1993, Bridgman Cellars was created to honor one of the pioneers of the Washington Wine industry, William B. Bridgman. This line of wines, labeled simply Bridgman, emphasizes the use of newer varietals produced in smaller lots -- Viognier and Syrah, for instance.
