A deep ruby color with a nose that shows complex aromas of mocha, cocoa, cassis, cloves, anise and cedar. The mouth tastes of dark cherry and plum fruit with complex earthy spices including fennel, clove, anise and cedar. The round, voluminous palate contains chewy tannins and a noticeable tinge of acidity that gives way to a dark cherry finish.
