The 2011 Late Harvest Riesling has a pale golden-straw color with the aromas of honey, melon and ripe stone fruit. The palate is full with gripping acidity that carries the fruit to a lingering finish. The extended ripening adds volume to the rich texture. The finish contains pronounced flavors of pear, apricot and peaches with a sweetening revelation, much like that from a freshly spun honey.
