Caris represents a rare meritage beauty crafted by winemaker Ray Sandidge typically using Cabernet Sauvignon, Malbec, Merlot and Cabernet Franc fruit. Traditionally, the Caris blend sources fruit primarily from the Lake Chelan AVA and to a lesser extent the Wahluke Slope and Yakima Valley AVA regions.
