Glencorrie, Walla Walla Cabernet Sauvignon

Our Walla Walla Cabernet Sauvignon is sourced from Windrow (60%) and Dwelley Vineyards (40%). Windrow has the oldest cabernet sauvignon vines in the entire Walla Walla Valley. Both vineyards exhibit an earthiness with subtle herbal undertones typical of the Walla Walla Valley. Our production is limited to only 10 barrels (240 cases) using 25% new French Oak, 25% new American Oak, and 50% one year old barrels. The wine was aged in barrel for 21 months. The fruit in both vineyards was picked in mid October when the fruit had been hanging for weeks in moderately cool weather. The result is a mature flavor profile along with enough acidity to yield remarkable balance.
