Our Story
The Patterson family established Hoodsport Winery in 1979 and became the sixteenth winery in Washington to get their license. Early production was mostly fruit wines with varietal grape wines added later. Three hallmark wines are the 1994 Cabernet Sauvignon that won a gold medal at the Challenge International Du Vin in France, the Island Belle red varietal with 100 year old historical links to Stretch Island, and the Raspberry which as won numerous gold medals and the Governors Trophy.
