WINERY OF THE YEAR 2011 for the 11th consecutive yearr! Wine & Spirits Magazine
Our Story
L'Ecole No 41 is recognized for producing superior wines crafted for richness and complexity, year after year. As a traditional brick and mortar winery, we are engaged in growing and making 100% of our wines. Each bottle is handmade with a commitment to quality in the vineyards and in the winery. Our long-term relationships with some of the oldest and most proven vineyards in Washington State, combined with nearly three decades of winemaking experience, are paramount to our reputation for quality and consistency throughout our wine portfolio. Our commitment to precision viticulture practices in the Walla Walla Valley is showcased in our Estate vineyards - Seven Hills and the more recent Ferguson Ridge.
L'Ecole is one of the most honored wineries in Washington State. In addition to earning consistent, top ratings from prestigious wine publications over the years, we are proud to be recognized by Wine & Spirits Magazine as "Winery of the Year" for the eleventh consecutive year.
"...what has been proven beyond a doubt is that anyone who values tradition, continuity, and a track record of excellence, will eventually find their way to L'Ecole...making consistently fine wine, over many years and vintages, across a wide number of varietals and blends."
- Paul Gregutt, author, blogger, columnist Wine Enthusiast Magazine, Seattle Times
