Lodmell Cellars, Lodmell Cellars 2005 Merlot

Owing to it's generously complete composition, the 2005 Lodmell Cellars Merlot was made in a style that is not difficult to define. Having aromas of violet and black pepper, it further possesses black currant, ripe plum and cherry on the palate. Densely packed, and proving it with its heavy structure and near-black hue, this Merlot easily succeeds at aspiring to the variety's opulent style and manner of production. Lovingly and patiently aged for 30 months prior to bottling, this Merlot has attained a certain star quality, having been barrel-conditioned for a long life to come.
