Novelty Hill’s family-owned estate vineyard, Stillwater Creek, is planted on a south-facing hillside on the Royal Slope of the Frenchman Hills. First planted in 2000 it is one of the steepest sites in the Columbia Valley, up to 22% in many parts of the vineyard, and has quickly distinguished itself as one of the most exciting new Columbia Valley sites of the last decade. In 2010, Washington wine expert Paul Gregutt identified Stillwater Creek as one of the state’s Top 20 vineyards in the 2nd edition of his book, Washington Wines & Wineries.
