Sparkman Cellars, 2011 Pearl Sauvignon Blanc

The lovechild of the Loire Valley and New Zealand, Pearl is loaded with flavors of white grapefruit, guava, honeydew melon and notes of hot sidewalk after summer rain. Pearl was pressed whole cluster, aged on lees in stainless steel and neutral French oak and received weekly battonage for four months. Tastes like summertime.
