In 2003, we contracted to plant Tempranillo cuttings- that we personally obtained- in a rocky soil site in Walla Walla. Then the fun began as we set our sites on creating a truly unique blend in a high end package that would sell exclusively from the winery. The result was SAROS - a blend of Tempranillo, Malbec and Cabernet Sauvignon that produces a wine of tremendous complexity and character. our first two vintages released - 2005 and 2006 - received 94 and 92 points respectively from the Wine Advocate.
