Our Story

At Trio Vintners we challenge convention with lesser-known varietals possessing low oak, high natural acids and alcohol levels you can live with! Our focus has been on creating exceptionally food friendly wines from smaller lot productions using premium grapes grown throughout eastern Washington. Trio's name offers tribute to the unique trio of factors - - FRUIT, SOIL, and CLIMATE - - that enables the winemaker to provide you with a selection of appealing wines believed to be exclusive only to this region. Established in 2006, Trio Vintners was one of the first to open our doors in one of the newly constructed incubator locations at the Walla Walla Airport. By 2010, Trio V had outgrown its incubator space and moved the tasting room to downtown Walla Walla. With a focus on Italian and Mediterranean varietals, Trio currently produces 1,500 cases a year. A visit to the tasting room will provide the opportunity to taste Sangiovese, Mourvedre, Grenache, Zinfandel, Barbera, Tempranillo, Carmenere, Plaisir (a Rhone style blend) and our ever popular off-dry Rose. We look forward to your visit! Cheers! Salud! Sante!
