Our Story

Since 1988, Wilridge Winery has specialized in single-vineyard wines from some of the best vineyards in Washington State. In 2007, Wilridge purchased 85 acres on Naches Heights west of Yakima and planted 21 different varieties of wine grapes. Wilridge's wines may be sampled at The Tasting Room Seattle, located at 1924 Post Alley in Seattle's famous Pike Place Market and at The Tasting Room Yakima at the new Vineyard located at 250 Ehler Road off of Naches Heights Road (ten minutes from I-82). The winery's production facilities remain located in Seattle's historic Madrona neighborhood, underneath owner's Lysle Wilhelmi and Paul Beveridge's home. The grapes are picked in eastern Washington and crushed, pressed, and aged in French-oak barrels at the winery in Seattle. Current production is limited to Washington State Cabernet Sauvignon, Merlot, Syrah, Nebbiolo, Pinot Blanc, Semillon, Pinot Grigio, Viognier and Sangiovese, but will expand as the new vineyard comes into production.
