The Washington State Wine Commission (WSWC) is soliciting proposals from individuals or firms interested in partnering with WSWC staff to manage its social media channels and other digital platforms.

Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

  • Regularly posting interesting, engaging content on WSWC social media channels and website;
  • Proactive and responsive community management;
  • Working with WSWC communications team to drive creation, development and implementation of digital strategy;
  • Creating and developing digital assets;
  • Working closely with contracted creative agency on strategy, video content creation, social media monitoring, and paid promotional opportunities;
  • Creating and fostering influencer/ambassador relationships to enhance the awareness and social media presence of Washington Wine;
  • Creating social media reports and aggregate data into actionable insights and recaps for our internal teams and board meeting presentations;
  • Helping to manage and organize WSWC’s Digital Asset Management System. Experience with Canto a plus.

A successful partner has experience managing social media for a brand or product, has some knowledge about Washington wine and much knowledge about the changing digital landscape, and has a thirst to help grow in an exciting industry.

This is a one-year contract position, and is not eligible for benefits.
