Vineyard and Winery Technology Teaching Winery Students will develop a diversified knowledge of viticulture, enology, mathematics and applied sciences that will provide them the skill sets to be a valuable asset for any perspective career path or transfer to a 4-year university, such as Washington State University.
A state of the art teaching facility is available at the Grandview branch campus. The new building includes a teaching winery, laboratory, classroom, tasting room, barrel and case storage, and two incubator (start-up) winery spaces. Having two incubators is unique to any other wine program in the nation; combining the academic and business environment in one setting. This promotes the start-up of a new winery and provides a beneficial learning environment for students.
