Barons Winery was formed in 2001 by five partners who share an avid interest in fine wines. They commissioned Winemaker Matthew Loso who has extensive experience in the Washington wine industry and was formally the winemaker/owner of Matthews Estate.

    • Deep garnet in color with aromas of black cherry and cassis. The mid pallet is clean and mouth filling leading to a finish of mineral, lush resolved tannin and integrated oak with a hint of candied blackberry. This wine should be showing well at about 7-9 years from the vintage date and continue to improve from there. The wine will benefit from a short time in a decanter.

    • A great expression of the vintage! This wine is elegantly balanced from start to finish. Begins with deep black fruits gliding over the mid-palate with luscious, resolved tannins and depth. The finish lingers and leaves you wanting more. Although consumable early, this wine is built for cellaring. This wine will benefit from a short time in a decanter.
