Barons Winery

Open to the Public

Daily 11am - 6 pm (through November)

Barons Winery was formed in 2001 by five partners who share an avid interest in fine wines. The winery started in Woodinville, remaining there until 2016, when winery operations moved to Walla Walla, WA. The Barons Winery Tasting Room is located at 11 N. 2nd Ave. in Walla Walla. We feature our current release wines and selection of library wines. While known for our outstanding Cabernet Sauvignons, we also make a Bordeaux style Red Blend, Chardonnay, and a Sauvignon Blanc.

Finishes with an expansive lush, complexity. 100% New French Oak and careful attention to detail in the vinification process has yielded this classic wine. • 2012 Petit Barone Red Wine Blend

    • Overview

    • Tasting Notes

    • Dark red-purple in color with ruby highlights, it glistens in the glass. The nose suggests fresh black cherries, sweet forest scents and a stroll through a far-off spice bazaar. The first taste of the wine is lithe and elegant, with a precision of berry flavors and complex earthy notes. Quite inviting and utterly delicious, the tannins are round, and supported by remarkably integrated acidity. Lush, but never heavy, it has a smoothness and sophistication that belies its price and a finish that is long and sweet/savory at the end.
