    • Winemaker's Tasting Notes - Extremely extracted, driven by dark fruit with huge, rich tannins. It's warm and toasty. A snuggle up to a fire, drink by itself wine. This wine is massive, even though it's primarily Merlot. The aroma and taste is dark fruits; blackberry, cassis, dark chocolate and chateau toasted oak. On the palate, the tannins and ethanol are present but are held up in "balance" by the obvious extraction of fruit. Its tannic structure and tightly-wound pure fruit has us thinking this wine will cellar incredibly well over the next decade. 50% Merlot - Double Canyon Vineyard / 40% Cabernet - Elephant Mountain (Yakima) / 10% Syrah - Double Canyon Vineyard (Horse Heaven Hills)

    • Winemaker's Tasting Notes - "Cool climate in style, incredibly balanced with natural lower alcohol but at the same time not to be confused with Old World lean wines…perhaps the perfect combination for expressing what a cool climate style Syrah is meant to be." Its aroma is unmistakably Syrah with a bit of black pepper, dark fruit and integrated oak. The aroma borders between red and dark cherries, with a little blackberries as well. The mouth-feel is silky and rich. We think the 2009 Syrah will match well with red meat stews, aged gouda’s, pizza and seared lamb shanks. 66% Lonesome Spring Ranch Vineyard (Columbia Valley) / 34% Double Canyon Vineyard (Horse Heaven Hills)

    • Winemaker's Tasting Notes - "A crisp and clean white wine with mouth-watering acidity…layers of complexity that change while the bottle is open." The aromas are driven by a distinct lemony citrus with a bit of earthy tones. The high acidity is obvious but the wine still has a full mouth feel. Early tasting has shown that after a little time open and a few swirls of the glass the grassy-lemon chiffon dominates. We feel this wine will match superbly with ripe soft cheeses, fondue, salmon and roasted chicken. 100% Marsanne - Lonesome Spring Ranch Vineyard (Columbia Valley)

    • Winemaker's Tasting Notes - Dry in style with the perfect acid to sugar ratio, she brings beautiful aromatics of tropical fruits (papaya and mangoes). This wine pops on the palette with lip-smacking lime juice and mineral flavors. A great expression of the style we are going after and of Washington State Riesling. 100% Riesling - Lonesome Spring Ranch Vineyard (Columbia Valley)

    • Winemaker's Tasting Notes - A surprisingly unique flavor and aroma profile thanks to the high percentages of Petite Verdot and Malbec. Aromas of dark cherries, thought-provoking spiciness and very subtle green vegetables, think English peas. On the palate violets and blueberries dominate with exotic spice underneath silky and smooth tannins. Our signature Bordeaux wine named after our owners 1st born son… 40% Malbec / 40% Petit Verdot / 20% Cabernet - Double Canyon Vineyard (Horse Heaven Hills)

    • Winemaker's Tasting Notes - Our three-vineyard Cabernet wine is extremely extracted dark fruit in both the aroma and palate, unmistakably Cabernet. Complex, balanced and with great potential to age. Seamless transitions from front to mid to back palate. Silky smooth on the front, round and coating in the middle and finishing with a reminder of its youthful tannins. We expect this wine to age six to ten years, easily. 50% Meek Vineyard (Columbia Valley) / 25% Obelisco Vineyard (Red Mountain) / 25% Elephant Mountain (Yakima)
