This is why it was selected to be the main component of this voluptuous blend being paired up with Syrah and a touch of Cabernet Sauvignon and Petit Verdot. This blend shows a beautiful nose of concentrated ripe black cherry and blueberry with a touch of vanilla and baking spices. The ripe fruit combined with sleek tannins create a wine that is powerful, yet elegant. The ripe flavors in the mouth lead into a soft, lingering finish with a touch of bright acidity.
