Our Wines

  • 2014 Northern Blend

    • Overview

    • Tasting Notes

    • 95% Syrah co-fermented with 5% Viognier- All Walla Walla fruit, predominately from the Rocks. Co-fermentation is a technique that has been used for centuries in the Northern Rhone. The Viognier adds florals to the nose, as well as balancing the wine structurally. As a result, the Northern Blend is deep and dark. This wine is proudly unfined and unfiltered.

  • 2015 Southern White

    • Overview

    • Tasting Notes

    • 60% Viognier, 25% Marsanne, 15% Roussanne- Our signature white wine exhibits aromas of white peach, citrus, and stone fruit. This wine has a sophisticated, three dimensional structure. The complexity comes from a juxtaposition between a rich mouthfeel and driving acidity. This was achieved by barrel fermenting the Viognier with native yeast and blended with Roussanne and Marsanne fermented in stainless steel.

  • 2013 little g

    • Overview

    • Tasting Notes

    • 100% Grenache- In 2013, our Grenache on the South facing slopes of the Columbia River had all the heat it could handle. One of the hottest years on record, Little g exudes Pinot-esc qualities, while maintaining all the integrity of pure Grenache. No, it’s not BIG and Bulky like its winemaker, but Burgundian and beautiful from four 500L Puncheons. This wine is now the highlight of Rotie Cellars 2013 vintage.

      • Grenache Noir
      • $50 - $75
      • Washington State
  • 2013 Homage

    • Overview

    • Tasting Notes

    • 75% Mourvedre 15% Syrah 10% Grenache- The biggest Mouvedre based wine Rotie Cellars has ever made comes from the picturesque, Wallula Vineyard, terraced on gigantic columnar basalt lava flows high above the Columbia River. This 1.44 acre section looks like it's own island because it juts out from the surrounding 900' cliffs on either side. Basically, heat, Basalt cliffs, and the mighty Columbia River make up Homage. As these three descriptors suggest, the wine is BIG... Pipe tobacco, cigar, and beef jerky are prominent on the palate, with notes of ripe red fruits, fig and date.
