Forgeron Cellars provides wine enthusiasts who are looking for more than just a “Tasting Room” experience, an opportunity to sample some of Washington’s most elegant wines. Located in an old blacksmith shop at 3rd & Birch, Forgeron Cellars is within easy walking distance from Walla Walla’s major hotels and restaurants. As guests tour through the tank and barrel rooms, they are given an intimate look into the mechanics of winemaking while being treated to award-winning red and white wines. Every tour includes insight into Marie-Eve’s winemaking philosophy and how it affects each individual wine’s character and makeup.

The French grape varieties are compared to the grapes grown in Washington and the Wines produced here. Class includes "A Crush Course in Effective Wine Tasting," lots of wine vocabulary to help you describe what you see and smell and taste, a bit of history and geography of the regions, best wine-buying strategies, wine-and-food pairing guidelines, correct serving techniques and temperature, and hints for proper storing and aging. Limited Seating $35 Per Person 6 PM Captain Jack Blacksparrow, summoned pirate crews of the most notorious pirate ships in the Caribbean Sea, to the Pillagin’ Pirate Tavern - a land-lubbin’ waterin’ hole owned by the ex-Leader of the Privateers Sir Henry Barburosa, one of the most dangerous pirate at sea. Capn’ Jack needed a crew fit to seek the legendary treasures on Parrot Island. When getting down to the serious business of why they were beckoned to the Tavern, the pirates were shocked when a murder occurred in their midst! The pirates with their own code of honor began to investigate the murder.

Over 20 participating wineries, a stellar lineup of instrumentalists and vocalists, plus food trucks and more make this the kind of summer experience Washingtonians look forward to all year long. Begin your tasting and toe-tapping at The Junction, where guitar virtuoso Jim Ellis will accompany five great wineries. The beat then moves to center stage in the Warehouse District, where vocalist Stephanie Porter and her jazz quartet opens with sultry, soulful standards. Americana singers Elliott Randall & The Deadmen follow with their three-part harmonies and outlaw brand of alternative country, R&B and rock. Finally, the show culminates with headlining saxophonist Steve Cole, one of the most celebrated horn players in contemporary jazz.
