Tendrils Vineyard Restaurant’s new Executive Chef Joe Ritchie and Cave B Estate Winery Winemaker Freddy Arredondo team up with acclaimed guest chef Greg Atkinson, author of "West Coast Cooking", to provide hands-on food and wine education experiences. A portion of the proceeds from these 3-day weekend programs will benefit two Washington state hunger relief organizations, Food Lifeline and Second Harvest Inland Northwest. Tendrils Vineyard Restaurant’s Executive Chef Joe Ritchie and Cave B Estate Winery Winemaker Freddy Arredondo team up with acclaimed guest chefs to provide an intensive culinary learning experience. Students will work directly with the chefs, learning both the techniques and creative process behind preparing extraordinary food. In addition, students will receive instruction from award-winning winemaker Freddy Arredondo and will have the opportunity to create their own custom wine blend. Chef’s weekend package includes 2 nights accommodations at Cave B Inn at SageCliffe, all food and instruction with Chefs and Winemaker.

The "Perfect Pairing" can enhance both the wine and the chocolate, creating an entirely new sensory experience. We will be be partnering with the chocolater from Sweet Decadence to pair the perfect handmade chocolates with 4 of their favorite reds, including the 2007 Columbia Valley Syrah which recently received 91 pts in Wine Spectator. Sweet Decadence chocolates will be featured both days. Friday night they will be at the winery dipping fresh chocolates and sharing insight into this sweet, sweet art form. They recently won 1st place in The Best of Western Washington for Best Chocolate so this will be quite the treat.
