Woodinville Wine Cellars - Spring Release
Dates:
March 13, 2010 - March 14, 2010
Location:
Woodinville Wine Cellars
Spring Release Party ~ Chandler Reach Syrah & Cabernet Franc Saturday, March 13th - 12 to 5 pm Sunday, March 14th - 12 to 5 pm Visit Woodinville Wine Cellars as we host an open house to celebrate the release of two of our small production wines, the 2007 Chandler Reach Syrah and the 2007 Cabernet Franc. The Syrah will be our first ever single vineyard Syrah. This Syrah spoke so much about the terroir with its amazing depth and complexity it needed to be showcased by itself. Swirling in the glass, the wine is a dark purple/black color and gives off scents of violet, licorice, black fruits and jam while the finish is long and silky. The Cabernet Franc will be our first 100% Cabernet Franc since 2003. This is a wine of immense complexity. A broad shouldered wine with hints of raspberry, cherry, plum and scents of violet and a long velvety mouth feel. People have been waiting for a sequel to this popular wine for a long time, well...it's been worth the wait.
