We began the work of building our 5-year strategic plan in November 2022 by hosting a series of industry-wide listening sessions across the state. We followed up with an industry-wide survey, and then a facilitated strategic planning retreat with 30+ industry leaders in January 2023. The board and staff spent the year considering data, listening to industry members and reworking everything from our mission, values and brand essence, to our target audiences and key tactics. The plan was approved by the Board of Commissioners in November 2023, to roll out fully in 2024.
