Madrone Cellars & Cider is proud to offer a selection of European-influenced Island Crafted Wines and Sparkling Hard Ciders to the San Juan Islands. To taste Madrone, come by the downtown Friday Harbor tasting room Thursday - Monday from 12-6 pm. Located at 40 First Street, only two blocks from the ferry landing. The wines are made with minimal intervention, with the goal of revealing the grape, terroir, and story behind each glass. With a key interest in sparkling wines, owners Shaun & Amy Salamida specialize in Pétillant Naturel or Pét-Nat for short. Most all of Madrone's sparkling ciders are crafted in this ancient winemaking style, as well as the sparkling Pét-Nat Riesling and Cinsault.
